I am so excited to participate in the Pretty Preppy Party with 11 Magnolia Lane and the many bloggers that have participated in this beautiful home tour. Â If you haven’t already checked out their home tour you need to go do that right now. Christmas is my favorite time of year and home tours are some of my favorite posts. Â I love seeing how others use color, pattern and texture to transform their home into a magical wonderland for a couple weeks out of the year.
If you’re new to my blog welcome! Â I’m so glad you popped in and I hope you will stay and check out some other posts. Â Get comfortable and jump into the tour. Â I hope you are into plaid because that is the theme I chose this year.
This centerpiece was given to me by my MIL years ago. Â I just updated it with a plaid ribbon so it would go with my theme.
These Williams Sonoma plaid plates were my splurge this year. Â I already had the Lenox holiday plates and I think they go beautifully as a set.
Sometimes going back to the traditional red and green is just what I’m looking for.
I made this tray using Target items and items I already owned. Â You don’t have to have expensive decorations to make your home look nice.
This was my favorite tree to decorate this year. Â The black, red, and plaid just came together beautifully and I loved the final product.
I used presents and natural elements to decorate the base of this tree.
Dishes from One Kings Lane finished off the look of this table.
My two tiered tray is one of my favorite things to decorate each season.
My dog kept getting in the shot so I just went with it.
White and silver look nice together when creating a winter wonderland theme.
Metallics were trending this year. Â I love the look of the black and white against the copper.
I hope you will look back at all the other bloggers on this tour as they are all gorgeous. Â You will get some wonderful inspiration and ideas from these lovely ladies. Â I want to take this opportunity to wish you and your family and Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday.
Yours Truly,
Jenn
