Happy Thanksgiving to you all! It’s time to be thankful for the many blessings you have and to celebrate your family. What a wonderful time of year. I think today is a perfect day to not only think about what you’re thankful for, but to think about this past year as well. Look back on the year and see how well you did. Almost like a year in review. Most people do this at the very end of the year, but I think today is a great day to get started.
Looking back and reflecting can be a fun trip down memory lane. if you have had a good year you have a lot to be thankful for. I’m sure there have also been some hardships and that is just part of life that we have to live with and try to manage the best we can. On Thanksgiving Day, I want you to really celebrate the positive sides of you and your life. The real you. What did you accomplish this year? What goals did you set in January and how did you accomplish those goals? Answering these questions and reflecting back on your year can really help you see what you are thankful for. Then you can start to appreciate your life and your family.
A lot of families go around the table and say what they are thankful for during dinner. If you have done this process you can really dig down deep and have your list ready for what you’re thankful for this past year. Your answer won’t just be something on the surface. It will be a true answer that you’ve reflected upon. Reflecting also gives you a clear picture of what you still need to accomplish before the end of the year. You still have time to work hard and be the best version of you, you can be. Don’t give up now. You only have a month left before you make new resolutions and set new goals for yourself.
Happy Thanksgiving from
Yours Truly,
Jenn
