Holiday Table Setting

I’m looking forward to hosting Christmas dinner this year. We usually eat at my mom’s house so I am very excited that I will be hosting this year.  We will only have 10 people, but I think that is a perfect intimate number.  You can really enjoy your guests and get a chance to speak with everyone at the table. Plus, my dining room table seats ten comfortably so we won’t have to have an overflow table in the kitchen.  I have chosen my colors for my dining room this year and have started my table set up.  I have chosen to do the traditional red and green this year with accents of gold.  Even if you’re not using those colors this year, I hope you can get some inspiration and tips that you can use in your own home.

Traditional Holiday Colors

Start your table setting with your centerpiece.

I used my red chargers that match flowers in the centerpiece.

Next, I added my Lenox China in Eternal which is outlined in gold.

Instead of using my Eternal salad plates, I chose to use Holiday by Lenox.

I love purchasing red items because you can use them for so many holidays.  You can use them for Valentine’s Day, Fourth of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day and of course in your Christmas Decor. It is a great universal color that is a really smart purchase.

My Dinner napkins and rings are from Pier 1. The napkins are a red, green, and gold plaid pattern.

I would love to see how you are setting your table this year.  Send me pictures on my facebook page showing me your gorgeous table settings.  May your holiday season be merry and bright.  I would love for you to check me out on Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter.

Yours truly,

Jenn
