There are so many things to think about around the holidays. Â One of them is having guests come stay with you. Â Most times it’s your close family. Â However aren’t they the people you love the most? Â You should really take care of those people closest to you. Â In this guest room I decorated a 6′ tree in blush pink and black. Â I absolutely love how it turned out.
I chose to do this blush and black tree because it matches the style of the room.  The artwork and comforter of this room is bright and fresh and has black accents already and it just makes the room look cohesive.  Christmas decor doesn’t have to clash with your everyday  decor. It can just add to what you already have and be an accent.
Have a coffee/tea  station in the kitchen. Make sure it is very accessible.  Put creamer, sugar, sweeteners, mugs and anything else you can think of that your guests might need to make a killer cup of coffee in the morning.
Make sure you have extra toiletries stored under the sink for easy access. Â Don’t forget things like cotton balls, Q-tips and make up removers just to name a few. Other things to put in the bathroom are a hair dryer a plunger and maybe some kind of great smelling spray.
I like to give the guests our very best towels. Â All towels are not created equal. I like to get rid of towels when they lose their fluff. Â We use them as rags around the garage.
Even if no one has slept in this bed in a long time I like to wash the linens right before a guest comes. Â It just freshens up the linens and makes them smell great. Â It lets the guest know you’ve cleaned the sheets too.
Another great way to make your guests feel at home is to have some magazines in the room along with your wifi password displayed so they don’t have to ask. Â I hope you enjoy your family this Christmas season.
