EVERYTHING is so darn expensive these days. When you buy something you want to make sure it is going to stand the test of time. With clothes, I tend to make sure I’m able to wear them in more ways than one so I can make several different outfits. A lot of time you will see fashion trends carry over into home interiors and design.  Whatever is hot in fashion is probably going to look lovely in your home as well. In my home, I love to mix and match pieces that are from a store such as Target with say something I purchased from One Kings Lane.  Not only is it less expensive, but it gives your home an unique look that nobody else has.  You can definitely have the house you are looking to create and the fashion sense you’re going for without spending a fortune.

Where are you shopping for clothes and items for your home?  I would love to check out new stores.  My shopping habits are sporadic.  I usually go when I have a special event or when I know that I need something specific.  I tend to go in cycles where I will focus on my wardrobe for a while or the house.  Right now I’m focusing on some home projects. I do like to casually walk around the mall and window shop. A girl can dream can’t she? For the latest in my style and home updates, follow me on instagram.
